Tourists Visit Shadegan International Wetland in Nowruz
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Shadegan International Wetland is a series of ponds and a tourist attraction in Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan.
Many tourists visit the Shadegan International Wetland during the Nowruz holidays, which mark the Persian New Year.
Most villagers living around the ponds work in such fields as tourism industry, animal husbandry, fishing, bird hunting, and cutting and selling reeds.
