IQNA – Acting entirely in accordance with the system of Sharia (religious rules) will bring about order and discipline in Muslims’ personal and social life.

Holy Quran

The divine creation is based on order and there is precise planning and design in creation of everything: “He has created all things with precisely accurate planning.” (Verse 2 of Surah Furqan)

This Takwini (related to creation) aspect is related to man in him being God’s caliph (viceroy). Man is God’s viceroy on earth and, therefore, all divine names and attributes should be manifested in him. That is why order, discipline and Hikmah (wisdom) should dominate a believer’s life and daily affairs.

In addition to Takwini order, acting upon the collection of the values, moralities and commands of the religion pushes a Muslim toward order and discipline. In other words, the outcome of acting entirely in accordance with the system of Sharia is order and discipline in Muslims’ personal and social life.

If one organizes his life based on Islamic teachings and tries to ensure that his words, deeds and moves are according to Islam’s plans, he will achieve order in thoughts and will never face instability and fluctuation in thoughts and beliefs.

One reason for this is that God has sent down the verses of the Quran and there are no discrepancies and inconsistencies in them: “(Joseph (AS) said): ‘My fellow-prisoners can many different masters be considered better than One All-dominant God?’” (Verse 39 of Surah Yusuf)

Basically, one of the root causes of the emergence of differences and disorder is the variety of sources of rulings. The Holy Quran says in Verse 82 of Surah An-Nisa: “W ill they not contemplate upon the Quran? If it had been from other than Allah, they would surely have found in it many contradictions.”

One of the issues that brings about order in believer’s life is observing divine laws and remaining committed to divine commandments and Islamic principles. The Holy Quran commands us to observe divine laws and avoid transgressing: “These are the Bounds of Allah; do not transgress them. Those who transgress the Bounds of Allah are harmdoers.” (Verse 229 of Surah Al-Baqarah)

One should not consider the “Bounds of Allah” as restrictions because the Quran-based style of life has been designed by the Creator of man and the world and breaking its rules would certainly be harmful.
