In Pictures: Imam Reza Shrine Flag Changed as Mourning Processions Ended
IQNA – In a ceremony on September 7, 2024, the black flag at the top of the Imam Reza (AS) shrine in Mashhad was replaced with a green one. The flag change comes as days of mourning in the lunar months of Muharram and Safar came to an end with the arrival of Rabi' al-Awwal.
