Photo Gallery: Imam Reza Shrine Celebrates 11th Shia Imam’s Birthday
IQNA – Special programs were held at Imam Reza (AS) shrine in Mashhad on October 11, 2024, to mark the birthday anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Askari (AS), the eight Shia Imam.
Imam Hassan al-Askari (AS) was born in 846 AD in Medina and was martyred in 874 AD in Samarra.
He is the 11th Shia Imam and the father of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent), the promised Savior.
