Ibrahim Mohammed al-Dailami made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that Yemeni fighters have launched a historic battle against the Zionist regime in support of Palestine based on this duty and have no fear of the enemy’s threats.
“Yemen’s struggle against the Zionist regime and its support for the people of Gaza is not limited to a specific group but is embraced by the entire Yemeni nation. This demonstrates that various segments of our society are participating in this struggle through different means, just as Yemen’s military operations against Israel are carried out by the Yemeni armed forces and are not confined to a particular group.”
He said Yemen’s position stems from its sense of responsibility and its faith-based, Quranic, and divine obligation. “This is because the Holy Quran contains many verses about fighting against infidels and hypocrites. Additionally, the Quran warns those who abandon supporting the truth of a painful punishment.”
He said Yemen can be a role model for other Muslims, especially Arab nations, deploring the fact that some Arab countries have sided with the Zionist regime and turned a blind eye to the Israeli atrocities.
“So where is the sense of being a Muslim? What happens to the implementation of the principles and values of the Holy Quran regarding the obligation to support each other as fellow human beings?”

Al-Dailami said the Yemeni nation’s support for Palestine is not confined to the military aspect but there are also million-strong rallies held in the country in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
“Despite suffering from economic hardships, the people of Yemen have been providing financial support to the Palestinians from the very beginning of the Israeli aggression and have been collecting donations for the Palestinian nation. Thus, these economic challenges do not deter them from Jihad (struggle on the path of God) with their wealth and lives.”
He also highlighted the Yemeni people’s support for Palestine in social media as well as their boycott of Israeli products and those produced by supporters of the Zionist regime.
He further noted that the foundation of the Yemeni people’s movement is their connection to the Holy Quran, and this virtue, after the Almighty God, is attributed to the martyr Sayed Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi.
“He began his Quranic project in 2001, which consists of speeches and lessons addressing essential issues about the guidance and blessings of the Holy Quran. I invite all honorable people, researchers, and everyone in the Islamic community to refer to these Quranic lessons and gain insight into the nature of the Quranic and divine project presented by Sayed Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi.
“He has called for adherence to the Book of God and maintaining the guidance of the Quran in leading people. The Holy Quran is not just for worship and recitation. It is the book of guidance from the Almighty that outlines the path of dignity and honor for us in this world and the hereafter. The Holy Quran is the rope of God, extending from heaven to earth, but unfortunately, many Muslims have set aside the Quran and the return to it, turning instead to theories, thoughts, and sects that distance them significantly from the Quran and its importance.”

He said the world arrogant powers continue their hostilities against Muslims and pillage the wealth of Muslims.
“Millions of Muslims have been martyred and the massacre of Muslims continues in the land of Palestine by Jews. So, as Martyr al-Houthi has said, it is incumbent upon us to recognize the enemy as the Quran has told us.”
Asked about the recent developments in Syria and the future of the axis of resistance, al-Dailami said that without a doubt, the axis of resistance has suffered significant blows in Syria, Lebanon, and even Palestine. “This serves as a lesson for everyone to reassess the past, to determine where we were successful and where we fell short. We need to identify where to be more proactive and remain vigilant against the crimes the enemy commits against the axis of resistance in Iran, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, and Gaza.”
