Mohammad Reza Pourmoein, an advisor to the Secretariat of Iran’s International Quran Competition, pointed to the proposal while speaking to IQNA.
According to Pourmoien, the proposal is currently under review by the relevant authorities within Iran, including the representative of the Islamic Revolution Leader and the head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
If approved, the Secretariat will operate through specialized committees focusing on areas such as publications, technical and academic training, exchange of Quranic scholars, competition judging, recognition of distinguished contributors, as well as oversight and evaluation, according to the advisor.
