In his opening remarks, OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha emphasized the significance of the Fiqh Academy's role in elucidating Islamic teachings and promoting values of tolerance amid global transformations.
Qatar's Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, highlighted the importance of Sharia studies in addressing human concerns, stating, "Sharia studies offer comprehensive answers to everything that concerns humanity. That is why Muslim scholars gather in Doha, to exchange perspectives on contemporary challenges and emerging issues, and to develop clear, faith-based guidance that resonates with society."
Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the IIFA, noted that the conference is addressing a range of topics derived from real-life situations impacting both individuals and societies.
