Uhud Mountain Landmarks: Masjid al-Fasah and Uhud Cave
IQNA – Nestled on the northern slope of Mount Uhud in Medina, two historic sites stand side by side, marking key moments from the pivotal Battle of Uhud.
One is the narrow crevice in the mountain where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sought refuge after being wounded.
The other is Masjid al-Fasah, believed to be the place where he led prayers following the battle.
Recently restored, the mosque—along with the mountain crevice—has become a prominent destination for religious and cultural visitors.
