Harvest of Mohammadi Flowers in Iran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Rosa damascene, commonly known as Damask Rose, is known in Iran as Mohammadi flower - flower of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Mohammadi flower is grown in many parts of Iran, including Kashan in Isfahan province and in areas in the provinces of Qazvin, Zanjan and Khorasan. It is mostly grown to produce rose water and essence.
