Visually-Impaired Youths Imitate Quran Recitations by Renowned Qaris (+Video)

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Two visually-impaired youths in Egypt can beautifully imitate Quran recitations by famous Qaris of the country.

 

Hamadah Abdul Radhi Muhammad and Mohamed Jaad al-Kareem are from Asyut Governorate northeast of Egypt, according to Misrawi website.

They have practiced a lot to be able to imitate the recitations of such great Qaris as Sheikh Mohammad Sidiq Minshawi, Sheikh Ahmed Ahmed Noaina, Shikeh Mahmoud Khalil al-Husari and Sheikh Mahmoud Ali al-Bina.

Hamadah says he memorized the Quran at the age of 7 thanks to encouragements from his uncle.

He then listened to Quran recitations on the radio and after some time managed to learned their styles and imitate them.

Mohamed Jaad al-Kareem is a graduate of Al-Azhar Islamic University. He started memorizing the Quran at 4 and after a few years learned the entire Holy Book by heart.

He also learned to imitate top Quran reciter’s styles by listening to the recitations on radio.

Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 96 million.

Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.

Quranic activities are very common in the Muslim-majority Arab country and many of the Muslim world’s top Qaris in the past and present have been Egyptian.
