In Photos: Taziyeh Performance in A Village in Central Iran
IQNA – Coinciding with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Reza (AS), which fell on August 24, this year, a Taziyeh performance was held in the village of Qodjan, near Khansar city in central Iran.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the 680AD Battle of Karbala or the martyrdoms of other Infallible Imams (AS) or religious figures.
