Ramadan Int'l Market Planned in The Philippines

A Philippine company is planning to hold an international Ramadan market exhibition in the South East Asian country.

The HTH company has invited halal producing companies to present their products at the fair, IQNA's South Asia branch reported.
Muslims can buy food products, cultural products and handicrafts at the international event.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and the month in which the Holy Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) heart.
In this month, adult Muslims abstain from food, drink, and smoking between dawn and sunset.
Ramadan is also the peak time for shopping in Muslim countries and areas of high Muslim population in other countries.
This year, the holy month began on Sunday and ends with the feast of Eid al-Fitr on July 29.
