This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mas’ud Miriyan, education expert of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization's Quranic Affairs Center, who also said that a two-day course has been planned to be held on August 13 and 14 for the Quran reciters selected to accompany the Hajj batches.
He said 20 Quran activists planned to be sent to Mecca will attend the course, the Tasnim news agency reported.
They will get acquainted with the programs planned for the spiritual pilgrimage.
The Quranic Center of the Awqaf Organization and the Quran Supreme Council will host the course.
Meetings with religious scholars and classes on Hajj rituals, to be taught by Mousawi Shahroudi, will be among the programs of the course.
Miriyan added that a special class will also be held for the Quran reciters to improve their potentials and get them ready for better performance in Mecca.
During a 40-day trip to Saudi Arabia, the Iranian delegation will perform about 1000 Quranic programs for Iranian and foreign pilgrims at the representative offices of the Supreme Leader and sources of emulation as well as Quranic circles in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
