Cultural Plan to Be Carried out in Pilgrimage Sites

-- The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization is to carry out a plan in the country’s pilgrimage sites to present cultural and welfare services to the pilgrims.
Called Aramesh Bahari, the plan is slated to be implemented during Nowruz holidays (March 21-April 1) in over 10,000 pilgrimage sites across the country, Rabiee, director of the organization’s public relations and international affairs department said.
Mr.Rabiee was speaking last night in a live program on the Quran TV.
He said the plan aims to introduce different aspects of the sites and the Seerah of the holy figures buried there to the pilgrims.
Mr. Rabiee also gave a report on the Quranic activities of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization in the current Iranian year (ending March 21), and said some of the major Quranic activities included organizing the 27th International Quran Competition in Tehran, the 33rd national Quran Competition in Yazd and holding Quranic sessions across the country.
