TEHRAN (IQNA) – On the occasion of Arba’een (the 40th day after Ashura), a group of Quran memorizers will be formed by Dar-ol-Quran Center of Husseini holy shrine in Karbala.

According to the website of the center, ‘Ammar Al-Khazayi, head if the information office of the center, said the Quranic group will be formed at Hazrat Zeynab (SA) Section of Husseini holy shrine.

The group will comprise top memorizers of the Holy Quran and is planned to perform special Quranic programs on the occasion.

A number of Quran students, reciters and  memorizers of the region will cooperate with the group to serve pilgrims of Imam Hussein (AS).

Among the programs of the group will be distribution of Quranic posters and booklets among the pilgrims.

The Dar-ol-Quran Center held a mourning procession on the 8th of Muharram (November 2) with Quran activists marching towards the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS).

The objective of the procession was to stress the link between Imam Hussein's (AS) uprising and Quranic values.
