According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the multilingual online knowledge-based encyclopedia is one of Al-Quds Foundation Malaysia (QFM) projects financially supported by the Malaysia Humanitarian Care Institute.
Available at www.aqsapedia.net, Aqsapedia presents information and facts related to the mosque in a methodological scientific way in Arabic, English, Malay and Indonesian.
The website’s information will also be published in Hindi, Tamil and Thai languages in the near future.
It is edited and updated by a group of researchers and experts, headed by Dr. Sharif Amin Abu Shammala, a specialist in Al-Quds studies, and the CEO of QFM.
Aqsapedia aims to disseminate and promote the correct narrative about Masjid Al-Aqsa in the face of the Zionist narrative that dominates the mainstream media and widespread in the digital space.
Also among the objectives of the project is to become a reference for experts, researchers and public on everything related to Masjid Al-Aqsa, at the same time, to be a platform through which they can serve Al-Aqsa and remind the peoples of the Muslim Ummah of Masjid Al Aqsa status and their commitment to its liberation.
QFM is a non-profit organization founded in 2012 in an effort to preserve and defend the sanctity of Al-Aqsa and the holy city of Al-Quds from the invasion and aggression of Zionist Israeli occupation.
The mission of the foundation is to promote the cause of Al-Quds amongst the Malaysian people and to mobilize the efforts and capacities to support the steadfastness of the people of Al-Quds, through mutual work and collaboration.
The foundation also tries to mobilize individual and institutional capacities toward the issue of Al-Quds, financially and informatively support the steadfastness of the people of Al-Quds and reveal the brutal practices of the Israeli occupation against Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities.
