Press Conference Held on Anniversary of Zaria Massacre
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A press conference was held in Tehran on Sunday marking the 4th anniversary of the Zaria massacre in which several hundred Shia Muslims were killed by the Nigerian army in December 2015.
Daughter of Nigeria’s top Shia cleric Sheikh Ibrahim al-Zakzaky and his doctor attended the event and described the conditions of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife, who have been in detention for four years on baseless charges.
