Zeynabi Women’s Gathering Held in Karaj
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A gathering of women dubbed “Followers of Zeynab (SA)” was held Friday in Karaj, west of Tehran, on the 11th day of the lunar Hijri Muharram.
A large number of women attended the event, in which Hojat-ol-Islam Tuyuserkani delivered a speech, elaborating on the virtues of Hazrat Zeynab (SA).
It also included elegy recitation in mourning of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala on Ashura (tenth of Muharram).
