Hojat-ol-Islam Behrouz Foroutan and Seyed Hossein Marashi have finished rendering the book and it will be published soon.
Hojat-ol-Islam Foroutan told IQNA that he felt the need to do the rendering while he was translating the Quran and writing an English Tafseer (interpretation) of the Holy book.
When the Quran translation and Tafseer got completed after several years and was published in 6 volumes, he started translating Nahj-ol-Balaqa.
After some time, Marashi, who had cooperated in editing the Quran translation, joined him in translation of Nahj-ol-Balaqa as well.
Hojat-ol-Islam Foroutan said it took them 4 years to complete the work.
It will be published by Majmaolfekr al-Islami Research Center in Qom.
Nahj-ol-Balaqa is a collection of sermons, letters and sayings left as a memorial from the Imam Ali (AS). The book was compiled by Sayed Radhi over a thousand years ago.
