VIDEO: General Soleimani Serving in A Mosque

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, who was martyred in 2020, was the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force.

He was a popular figure in Iran and in the region and a pious person whose modesty, according to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, was unmatched.

The following undated footage shows General Soleimani helping in cleaning a mosque in Iran, whose location is not known.

In a speech afterward, he underlines the importance of keeping mosques thriving and the presence of children and teenagers in the places of worship.

Gen. Qassem Soleimani and deputy commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the two iconic figures in the fight against the Daesh terrorist group, were killed in a US airstrike outside the Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
