Lahore Grand Mosque with 21 domes and four 165-meter minarets is the seventh largest mosque in the world and the largest mosque in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In the heart of this Mosque is a library containing ancient Islamic artifacts. The library contains more than 80 manuscripts of the Holy Quran and dozens of other books, including translations of the Quran, jurisprudence and commentary in various languages.

These manuscripts were collected by individual efforts and written in various Persian and Arabic scripts and belong to different periods and histories. The owners of some of these manuscripts have used gold water to protect and brighten their manuscripts.

Some of these manuscripts date back to 200 to 1000 years ago. Some of these copies were collected from Pakistan and some belong to Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China.

The variety of lines and customs of these manuscripts is as great as the variety of versions of the Holy Qur'an. Gold water was used in one of the manuscripts and is adorned and gilded with various motifs and colors that show the art of calligraphy and design at different times.

Some of these manuscripts are still completely safe and some need special protection and attention.

Next to the exhibited manuscripts, a piece of silk fabric embossed with verses from the Holy Quran can be seen, which dates back to the twelfth century AH, and writing the whole Quran on this cloth has taken more than four years.

The library also contains some books on jurisprudence and the noble hadith of the Prophet, which introduces visitors to aspects of the life of Islamic civilization.

In addition to the exquisite copies of the Qur'an, another part of this library includes models of the Prophet's Mosque, Medina and the Battle of Badr.

The model of the Prophet's Mosque includes the mosque and the houses of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). In the model of the city of Medina, the titles of different regions are mentioned on it, and the model of the Battle of Badr, which took place in the second year of AH, is shown in such a way that the viewer feels that he is living in the same days. The path of the polytheists to the battle and where the divisions of the two armies meet are also shown in this model.
