TEHRAN (IQNA) – The first edition of a special festival of Ramadan concluded in Kyrgyzstan.

Titled “Ramadan, King of Months 2022”, it was organized by the A K Bagit Foundation in collaboration with the country’s Department of Muslims’ Religious Affairs.

The Iranian Cultural Center in Kyrgyzstan and the Umma religious magazine also cooperated in holding it.

The festival featured awards in different categories such as “best supplication”, “best act of worship”, “best religious teacher”,  “best religious magazine”, best religious TV channel” and “young talent”.

Winners of different categories were announced and awarded at the closing ceremony.

There was also a draw held among the families participating in the festival, the winner of which was awarded an Umrah pilgrimage package.

Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia. More than 80 percent of its population of 5.7 million is Muslim.
