Museum of Martyr Chamran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The house Martyr Chamran’s father in Tehran has been turned into a museum, putting on display some objects and artworks related to the prominent figure.

Mostafa Chamran Save'ei was an Iranian physicist, politician, and commander who served as the first defense minister of post-revolutionary Iran and as member of parliament, as well as the commander of paramilitary volunteers during the Iraqi-imposed war in the 1980s, known as “Irregular Warfare Headquarters”. He achieved martyrdom on June 20, 1981 in Dehlaviya, southwest Iran.
