Arbaeen Pilgrims in Bain-ul-Haramain

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Pilgrims from different countries continue to arrive in Karbala, Iraq, to take part mourning rituals marking Arbaeen.

Most of them have traveled to the holy city on foot, travelling long distances.

Arbaeen marks the 40th day after Ashura, the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Imam Hussein (AS).

It is marked by mourning processions in different countries.
