Umrah Uninterrupted as Flash Flood Hits Mecca (+Video)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Thousands of pilgrims continued performing their Umrah pilgrimage on Friday as various cities of Saudi Arabia, including Mecca, were hit by flash floods.

Meanwhile, viral videos from some areas of the holy city of Mecca show flash floods washing away cars.
Saudi Arabia’s National Center of Meteorology had earlier issued a weather warning in Mecca, noting that the warning will remain active until 9 PM local time.
Saudi authorities have not yet published any official report on the damages or possible casualties of the flooding.
Authorities, meanwhile, warned residents not to leave their homes unless necessary.
