Egyptian Qari Recites Verses from Surah Maryam (+Video)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Today is Christmas Day which marks the birthday of Jesus Christ (AS), a revered prophet of God.
On this occasion, footage featuring a recitation of the Quran by Egyptian qari Abdul Fattah al-Taruti has been released in social media.
In this footage, Taruti recites verses 15 and 16 of Surah Maryam: “Peace be upon him on the day he was born and the day he dies, and on him the day when he is raised up alive. And mention in the Book, Mary, how she withdrew from her people to an eastern place and she took a veil apart from them.”
