In a statement on Wednesday, Kata’ib Hezbollah cited Verse 216 of the Holy Quran’s Surah Al-Baqarah, “Fighting is made mandatory for you, but you dislike it. You may not like something which, in fact, is for your good and something that you may love, in fact, may be evil. God knows, but you do not know,” and said it will continue backing Palestine and Gaza.

The statement referred to a ceasefire agreement reached between Lebanon’s Hezbollah an the Israeli regime that will put an end to the Israeli aggression, and said it came thanks to the steadfastness of Hezbollah’s fighters and the Tel Aviv regime’s inability to achieve its goals.

It said the respite by one member of the axis of resistance will not affect other members but will strengthen unity in the fight against the enemies of God.

“We underline our unchanging stance on the issue of Palestien,” the statement said.

Kata’ib Hezbollah added that it will not leave the people of the Gaza Strip and will not pay attention to the enemy threats.

The victory of the people of faith is certain, the statement concluded, citing Verse 47 of Surah Ar-Rum, “…and it was an incumbent duty upon Us to give victory to the believers.”
