Thousands Attend Mourning Rituals in Imam Reza Shrine on Tasua
IQNA – On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, which marked the day of Tasua, the 9th day of the lunar month of Muharram, thousands of pilgrims attended ceremonies at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran, to mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
