Serving Arbaeen Pilgrims at Shalamcheh Border Crossing

IQNA – The Arbaeen procession, the world’s largest religious gathering, brings millions of lovers and admirers of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) from different countries to the holy city of Karbala every year.

Along this route, Moukebs (service stations) play an important role in serving the pilgrims by providing various welfare, medical and cultural services and demonstrate a manifestation of people's empathy and hospitality.

The following photos show the Mostaz’afan Foundation’s Moukeb at the Shalamcheh border crossing between Iran and Iraq.
