IQNA – The Shalamcheh Border Crossing in southwestern Iran is one of several border crossings in the country through which pilgrims return home after taking part in the annual Arbaeen march in Iraq.

TEHRAN (IQNA) – While the majority of Iranian pilgrims going to the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, for Arbaeen enter Iraq through the Mehran Border Crossing in the western province of Ilam, some choose the less busy Shalamcheh Border Crossing in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.
