Shia Worshippers Killed in Terrorist Bombing

In a bomb explosion in northern Pakistan, three Shia Muslims were killed and 14 others injured.

The suicide bombing happened on Tuesday, December 17, near a mosque in the city of Rawalpindi, lesobservateurs website reported.

According to security forces, the terrorist attack took place as worshippers were saying their prayers inside the mosque.

 A suicide bomber who was riding a motorcycle detonated his explosives near the mosque.

In recent weeks, attacks against Shia targets have surged in Pakistan.

Secretary general of Pakistan’s Muslim Unity Council, who is a Shia sscholar, was killed in a terrorist attack in Lahore earlier this week.

Takfiri organizations that are supported from abroad and are very active in Pakistan are behind these attacks against Shia figures in the country.
