“Muslim-Christian Relations in East Africa” Symposium to Be Held in Kenya

A symposium on “Muslim-Christian relations in East Africa; contemporary challenges and perspectives for the future” will be held by Tangaza College on May 10 in Kenya.


Analytical speeches will be presented on historical contextualization, interreligious dialogue initiatives undertaken thus far, contemporary challenges and perspectives for the future.

Besides representatives from the Kenyan coastal region, the organizers of the program have invited speakers from the Somali community in conjunction with St Paul’s University.

The day of the symposium will be preceded by some days of an exhibition of materials on interreligious dialogue activities.
