DVD Containing Recitation by Top Quran Reciters Released

--Quran recitations by renowned reciters of the Islamic world have been presented in a DVD by the Islamic Affairs Department of Dubai, the Al-Khaleej daily reported.

Abdullah Abdul-Jabbar, head of propagation section of the department, told the daily that the DVD contains recitations by Abdul-Basit, Abolainain Shoaisha, Mustafa Ismaeel, Muhammad Rafat, Ali Mahmoud, Shahat Muhammad Anwar, Kamil Yusuf, Ahmad Noaina, Abdul-Fattah Shashaei and others.

He added that all the seven styles of the recitation of the holy Quran have been included in the DVD to be used in learning Quran recitation techniques.

According to Abdul-Jabbar 3000 copies of the DVD will be distributed among Quran instructors, preachers and students of Quranic centers across the United Arab Emirates.
