Quran Memorization Course for Children in Zahedan
-- An educational course on memorization of the 30th part of the Quran for children began from today, December 25 in Maktab Asma in Zahedan province.
Molawi Ziaul-rahman Sehhat, in charge of the Quranic activities of Makki Mosque at the province told IQNA that the course will continue until February 14.
The official said: “the course has been held for girls under 10 years old and 34 participants have attended the classes.”
“Besides memorization of the Quran’s verses, the students will learn about Tajweed principles and Arabic language,” he added.
According to the official, the children who succeed to memorize the 30th part of the Quran will be given a certificate and qualify to attend the courses on higher levels of Quran memorization.
He concluded that the course has been planned with the aim of making the children familiar with the Quran and encouraging them to participate at Quranic activities.
