National Quran Contests for Azad University Staff in Kerman

-- The first edition of national Quran and Etrat competitions for the staff of Islamic Azad University in Kerman was held with 50 participants on February 24.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Hosseini, head of the Islamic Culture Department in Kerman said the participants competed in written section which was held on the life and tradition of the holy prophet (PBUH). The winners of the elementary stage of the contest will qualify for the final stage which is due to be held on March 15.
“25 top participants from among university lecturers, students and staff who competed in the oral section of the contest at the university level will go on March 5 to Yazd to attend the regional stage,” he added.
According to the official, at a meeting of cultural directors of Islamic Azad University’s branches held in early February in Rey city, the Kerman branch of the University was introduced as one of the seven top branches in promoting prayer.
