Muslim Countries Urged to Follow Iran’s Example on Palestine

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Representative of Palestine in the 7th meeting of the Supreme Council of Islamic Awakening Assembly called on Muslim countries to follow the example of Iran on the issue of Palestine.

Bilad Shaam regretted that Palestine is not the number one issue in the Arab world, saying that all Muslim nations should support Palestine as Iran does.
He said it is time to go beyond slogans and start backing the Palestinian nation in action.
The meeting was held Tuesday, November 25 at Azadi Hotel in Tehran with the participation of the assembly’s Secretary General Ali Akbar Velayati and representatives from different countries.
Another speaker was Abu al-Azaem from Egypt who said there have been numerous conferences and forums in Arab countries on defending Palestine but they have failed to help resolve the issue.
