Countdown Begins for 5th Int’l Quran Competition for Muslim Students

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The countdown has started for the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students with the arrival of the first group of contenders.

Representatives of Egypt, Thailand and Bosnia and Herzegovina were the first contestants to arrive at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini (RA) Airport.
They were welcomed at the airport by a delegation from the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization, the competition’s organizer.
The fifth edition of the international Quranic event will start in the Iranian capital on January 1.
Representatives of more than 50 countries will compete in different categories of the competition, which will run for four days.
