Quran Memorization and Recitation Contest Held in Pakistan

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A competition on Quran memorization and recitation was held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Hyderabad, Pakistan.


According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Al-Mujaddid Quran Academy also cooperated in holding the competition on January 18.

More than 35 memorizers (of 10, 20 and 30 Juzes) of the Holy Quran and Qaris from among the youth and teenagers participated at the competition.

A number of scholars from Jamshoro Seminary School as well as intellectuals including Hojat-ol-Islam Heydar Ali Javadi were also present at the Qurani event.

The contestants were students of Dar-ol-Ulum Ahsan Al-Barakat, Rukn-ol-Islam Jamia Mujaddidya, Ganj Bakhsh Faidh Alam School, Gholam Hussein Hedayatullah School, Sham-ol-Islam School, Tahfiz-ol-Quran Jamia Arabia, Mellat Abad School, and Quran Al-Mujaddad Academy.
