Bassil underlined the need for unity among Muslims and said people in regional countries must be vigilant against plots aimed at spreading Muslim disunity, al-Nushra website reported.
He further said that both Shias and Sunnis are resolved to combat terrorism and that there is no difference of opinion among them about the need for fighting terrorists.
Bassil also referred to the Lebanese army’s measures against Takfiri terrorists, saying that everyone in the army, that is followers of all religions and sects, including Sunnis, Shias, Deruzis, Christians, etc, are involved in the fight against terrorism.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have been operating on the Lebanese-Syrian border in the past months.
The Hezbollah resistance movement and the Lebanese army have dealt serious blows to the Takfiri group, which has been committing heinous crimes in Iraq and Syria.
