Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdol Fattah Navab, said the members of the delegation recited the Quran with very beautiful voice at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and Prophet (PBUH) Mosque in Medina whenever they found an opportunity.
They also attended Quranic programs at the Prophet (PBUH) Mosque organized by the Saudis, he noted.
Every year millions of Muslims from around the world gather in the holy city of Mecca for the annual Hajj.
Iran also sends pilgrims as well as a groups of Quran activists, known as the Noor Convoy.
The members of the delegation hold Quranic programs, including Quran recitation sessions, for the Hajj pilgrims.
Head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Ali Reza Rashidan said last week that a total of 88,555 Iranians performed Hajj in Saudi Arabia in the 2019 Hajj season.
