Video-Conference Meeting to Discuss Future of OIC
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Union of OIC News Agencies plans to hold a video-conference meeting next Tuesday to discuss the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)’s future in the post-coronavirus era.
OIC and its organs in the post-coronavirus world is the title of the meeting.
It will discuss the duties and future programs and plans of the organization and its mechanisms for enhancing cooperation among Muslim nations as well as efforts to combat extremist ideologies.
OIC is a large inter-governmental organization which has membership of 57 states spread over four continents.
It is the collective voice of the Muslim world and aims to safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony among various people of the world.
