The preliminary rounds of the competition will begin on Monday, August 4, with around 2,800 male and female contestants participating across Oman.
Organized by the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science, the organizing committee will visit 25 centers in the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
The qualifying rounds will commence at the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan Centre, Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, with the remaining centers scheduled as per the approved plan.
The competition features seven levels. These include memorizing the entire Holy Quran, Level 2: Twenty-four consecutive Juzes (parts), Level 3: Eighteen consecutive Juzes, Level 4: Twelve consecutive Juzes (for those born in 2000 or later), Level 5: Six consecutive Juzes (born in 2011 or later), Level 6: Four consecutive Juzes (born in 2015 or later) and Level 7: Two consecutive Juzes (born in 2018 or later).

Registration for the competition ran from May 3 to July 17.
This annual event aims to instill spiritual values, promote Quran memorization and foster healthy competition among youth and gifted individuals across Oman.
