Palestinian People Donates Tens of Golden Rings for Mosque Project

TEHRAN (IQNA) – People of a rural area in Bethlehem, Palestine, have donated cash and golden rings for a mosque expansion project of their village.

 

People living in Marah Rabah village in the south of Bethlehem donated a total of around $160,000. 

Photos and videos of the ceremony that show people donating money and gold have aroused netizens’ admiration and praise, RT reported.

According to organizers of the fundraising campaign, local women whose population does not exceed 2,000, have donated 41 gold rings.

The village has come under the Israeli regime’s raids in the past several years.
