3-Minute Quran Interpretation Lessons Offered on YouTube
This is according to Sheikh Khaled al-Jundi, a member of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, who has produced the program.
He said the video clips are available on YouTube, El-Balad News reported.
The program, dubbed “Second Meaning”, provides easy to understand interpretation lesson in the Egyptian dialect of Arabic for ordinary people, he told DMC TV channel.
Al-Jundi said each 3-minute episode includes interpretation of one verse of the Holy Quran.
He added that so far 85 episodes of the program have been produced.
He hoped that the move would be a prelude to more such Quranic and religious programs by other religious figures.
Egypt is a country in North Africa with a population of around 100 million. Muslims account for around 90 percent of the country’s total population.
Quranic activities are very common in the Muslim-majority Arab country.
