TEHRAN (IQNA) – Man’s life in this world is very short and that is why he always seeks to make the best choices and have the most profitable trade. In the Holy Quran, trading with God has been introduced as the best trade.

Most Profitable Trade

One can have two kinds of business, one is worldly business with other people and the other is spiritual business with God. In spiritual business, one gives alms or lends money to those who need it. The result will be manifested not only in the Hereafter but also in this world in the form of increase in Rizq (sustenance) and wealth.

So one should not think he has suffered losses in his business with God. It may seem so on the surface, but in reality it is revealed that the real profit belongs to those who trade with God.

Doing business with God in the form of Infq (almsgiving) is a loss-free trade with countless benefits.

God says in verse 29 of Surah Fatir: “Those who recite the Book of God, who are steadfast in prayer and, who spend out of what We have given them for the cause of God, both in public and in private, have hope in an indestructible bargain.”

Such a spiritual trade and sacrificing one’s wealth and life on the path of God saves one from suffering in this world and the next and leads him to paradise and everlasting salvation:

“Believers, shall I show you a bargain which will save you from the painful torment? Have faith in God and His Messenger and strive hard for His cause with your wealth and in persons. This is better for you if only you knew it. God will forgive your sins and admit you into Paradise wherein streams flow, and you live in the lofty mansions of the garden of Eden. This is indeed the greatest triumph.” (Verses 10 to 12 of Surah Saff)

Hence one should be careful with who he is doing business. A prudent businessman is one who trades with somebody that creates the most profit.

Trading with God guarantees profits both in this world and the next. A little worldly profit should not cause us to abandon the real profit, which is salvation and happiness.
