Arbaeen Walk in Canada’s Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA (IQNA) – Scores of people took to the streets of Mississauga, Canada, to mark Arbaeen, the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).

The event was held on Sunday, September 25, 2022, with the attendance of people from different nationalities.

Several people addressed the event, including Firas Al Najim who heads the Canadian Defenders for Human Rights.

Shia Muslims annually mark Arbaeen in different countries across the world, especially in Iraq. More than 21 million people participated in this year’s event in Iraq, setting a new record.
