Jamkaran Mosque Decorated Ahead of Imam Zaman Birthday
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Jamkaran Mosque near Qom, Iran, has been decorated with lights and banners as the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent) approaches.
The 15th day of Sha’aban, or Nimeh Sha’aban, which marks the birthday of Imam Zaman (AS), falls on Wednesday, March 8, this year.
Every year, millions of Shia Muslims around the world hold festivities to honor the event.
On this auspicious occasion, the Jamkaran Mosque is also visited by hundreds of thousands of worshippers.
