Sheikh Aiman Mohamed Abdulghani, head of the center’s institutes department, said using the summer holidays as an opportunity to teach the Quran and memorization of the Holy Book are among the plan’s objectives.
He made the remarks at a meeting of the center’s Quranic affairs departments.
He said it is also aimed at identifying Quranic talents, training Quran learners for taking part in Quran contests and promoting Quranic values among the youths and teenagers.
The plan includes educational courses for teaching the Quran at different levels.
They are held all days of the week except Friday and national holidays, Misrawi website reported.
It was stressed at the meeting that the buildings hosting the courses should be in locations accessing which is easy.
They should also have enough space for hosting the courses and be equipped with air conditioning systems.
