The performance took place during the second international theater festival of Tunisia.
The group, from Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan, performed the Taziyeh in the Arabic language in an open field.
Their performance was received warmly by the audience.

Today, Ta’ziyeh is performed across Iran as well as countries with Shia Muslim communities.
