Israeli warplanes targeted buildings, oil facilities, and a power station in the western Yemeni province of al-Hudaydah, causing a number of casualties.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, armed forces’ spokesman, said the “heinous aggression” had targeted civilian structures.
Vowing to continue support for the oppressed people in Gaza, he added, “will not stop their support operations for our brothers in Gaza, regardless of the consequences and results.”
The Israeli attack came a day after Yemen announced the launch of an unprecedented drone attack against Tel Aviv, using a radar-evading drone.
Yemeni forces have been targeting the occupied Palestinian territories as well as Israeli ships and vessels affiliated with the occupying regime since October 7, when Tel Aviv began a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

Yemen says it will keep up operations as long as the regime continues the brutal war on Gaza.
The Yemeni forces are “preparing for a long war with this enemy until the aggression ceases, the siege is lifted, and all crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are stopped,” Saree said.
He also said Yemen reserved the right to retaliate in kind against the Israeli regime over the Saturday attack against al-Hudaydah. The Yemeni forces “will not hesitate to strike vital targets of the Israeli enemy,” he added.
In a statement on Saturday, Lebanon’s Hezbollah slammed the Israeli aggression on Yemen, while condoling the loss of lives to Yemeni people and government.
“We are fully confident that this aggression will not weaken the resolve of this people and its leadership but will instead increase their strength, determination, and persistence on this arduous and bloody path, inevitably leading to the victory of the resistance,” Hezbollah added.
The reckless step taken by the Israeli regime marks the beginning of a new and dangerous phase of confrontation of utmost importance across the entire region, reads the statement.

The Iranian spokesman considered the continuous killing and all-out siege of the defenseless residents of the Gaza Strip as the root cause of the current tensions in the region, stressing that peace will not be restored to the region as long as the Zionist regime's aggression continues in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip.
He held the Zionist regime and its backers, including the US government, directly responsible for the dangerous and unpredictable consequences of the continuation of crimes in Gaza, as well as adventurous attacks on Yemen.
